Why should I hire a Personal Trainer?

There are several reasons people hire personal trainers:
1. A trainer is a
specialist in helping you get your body the way you want it— faster and safer than doing it on
your own.
2. A trainer will change your routine to
improve your results.
3. A trainer will take the thinking out of working out for you.
4. A trainer knows hundreds of different exercises and variations of exercises to help you
achieve your goal.
5. A trainer can keep the workouts
fun and interesting using the latest fitness techniques and tools.
6. A trainer will act as the
motivation you need to get to the most out of your workout.

How To Choose A Personal Trainer?
1.Check for certification. Your trainer should be certified by one nationally recognized organization.

2.Check for personal
liability insurance. ALL trainers that train independent from a gym are required
to carry insurance to protect their clients and themselves against personal injury and property loss.

3.Ask if the trainer knows
CPR. Most certifications require CPR training, but it's good to ask anyway.

4.Talk with the trainer and determine whether you feel comfortable and confident with his or her skill
level and dependability.

5.Set a date and time to begin training.

Flexible Benefits
There are four important elements that are  often neglected
in flexibility training.
1. Allows greater freedom of movement and improved posture
2. Increases physical and mental relaxation
3. Releases muscle tension and soreness
4.
Reduces risk of injury

When performing any stretch
Start each stretch slowly, exhaling as you gently stretch the muscle.
Try to hold each stretch for at least 10 to 30 seconds.

Making Time For Exercise
By now you know that exercise is good for you, and that you should do something on a regular basis.
What's the best time for you to exercise? Anytime. Honestly.

A healthy exercise program includes three kinds of exercise: aerobic activity, muscular strengthening
and flexibility exercise. You can start your exercise program without investing in any elaborate
equipment.

Exercise is one of the best things you can do for yourself. If you're basically healthy, get going right
now.

Time To Heal
Popping a few aspirin after a strenuous workout to stay ahead of soreness may seem like a good
idea.  But a normal adaptation to exercise is muscle soreness (as opposed to muscle pain, which
may signal an injury) may be a good indicator that you've overextended yourself and that you should
ease up a bit on your next workout.

Exercise Helps Take Away the Pain
Not only does exercise help reduce the risk of developing numerous diseases, it may also be
effective in reducing the perception of pain, even among those with chronic pain in the lower back.

As long as the exercise does not exacerbate the injury, it could be an effective means of alleviating
pain. Exercise intensities from 50 to 75 percent (at the lower end of the heart rate training zone) were
necessary to induce a temporary reduction in pain perception.
